House expectations

Clear expectations protect everyone's safety and dignity. Ask our team for the current house expectations for a specific home before you decide.

  • Respect for everyone. Residents, staff and neighbors are treated with dignity.
  • Safe, clean shared spaces. Everyone helps keep common areas safe and tidy.
  • Honest communication. Tell us early about maintenance needs or concerns.
  • Your choice. An inquiry is not a commitment. You decide whether a home is right for you.

Start a Housing Inquiry

This is an initial inquiry, not an application. It takes about two minutes. Professionals referring a veteran: please use Refer a Veteran instead.

What type of housing information are you seeking?

Having assistance does not guarantee eligibility or approval.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information, identification documents, or financial account information.

Submitting means your inquiry is sent to our team by email. It does not reserve a room or guarantee acceptance. We will contact you to confirm availability and eligibility. You may call instead: 855.529.7999. See our privacy notice.

Veteran Housing Referrals & Partnerships

Restore Communities receives veteran housing referrals from VMC, VA hospitals, and other veteran housing and community partners. We coordinate with referring professionals to discuss housing needs, current availability, and next steps.

Who can refer?

  • VMC representatives.
  • VA hospital case managers and social workers.
  • Veteran housing and service organizations.
  • Community housing partners and case managers.

These are referral relationships. They do not imply VA approval, government endorsement, a formal contract, or guaranteed funding.

How a referral works

  1. The referring professional submits their own contact information and organization.
  2. Restore contacts the professional to discuss the referral and current housing availability.
  3. Necessary resident information and documents are exchanged through an appropriate secure process.
  4. Restore coordinates next steps with the veteran and referring partner.

Referrals are reviewed individually. Availability, eligibility, and any housing assistance must be confirmed before placement.

Our Impact

What we can report, and what we are working toward.

We separate reported results from goals, and we will not publish a number until we can stand behind it.

Program update: October 18, 2026. Move dates are anticipated and will be updated as transitions are confirmed.

Here, independent housing means a veteran's own home. It does not mean the veteran has purchased a home. Dates are anticipated, not guaranteed. A transition counts as completed only after Restore has confirmed the move, and passing a planned date does not change that. The number currently housed is updated from confirmed records.

2. Metrics we intend to track

Each measure will be published with its definition, reporting period, source and last update. Until data exists, we say so plainly.

The measurement framework appears here when scripts are enabled. For results, call 855.529.7999.

3. How we report

  • Completed transitions are counted separately from planned transitions.
  • Each resident is counted once within a measure.
  • Missing follow-up is not counted as success or failure. We report confirmed outcomes and how much follow-up we completed.
  • No personal information about residents is published.
  • Restoration Over Judgment
  • Structure Creates Freedom
  • Dignity First
  • Transformation Is Possible
  • Community Matters
